

The Kingway beer brand is owned by Kingway Brewery Holdings Limited (formerly known as Guangdong Brewery Holdings Limited), which is a listed company in Hong Kong (stock code: 124). Kingway Brewery Holdings Limited is a subsidiary of GDH Limited, the biggest Hong Kong-based enterprise owned by the Guangdong Provincial Government.
Applying traditional German brewing techniques, Kingway has made bold innovations to create a unique international light flavour on the basis of mellow taste. Over ten product series have been developed including Kingway Classic, Kingway Draft, Kingway Gold, Kingway 2008, and Kingway Green, which are mainly sold in the Guangdong market but are also distributed to more than 20 provinces, municipalities and cities like Tianjin, Sichuan, Xian, Guangxi, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shaanxi and Heilongjiang, as well as Hong Kong, Macau and overseas markets such as south-east Asia, Canada and the Republic of Panama.
Specialising in brewing and selling beer, Kingway owns seven modern breweries with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tonnes each: Shenzhen Kingway Brewery Co Ltd, Shenzhen Kingway Brewing Co Ltd, Kingway Brewery (Shan Tou) Co Ltd, Kingway Brewery (Dongguan) Co Ltd, Kingway Brewery (Tianjin) Co Ltd, Kingway Brewery (Xian) Co Ltd, and Kingway Brewery Group (Chengdu) Co Ltd.
In January 2004, international brewery Heineken through Heineken-APB (China) Pte Ltd. became a strategic partner of Kingway and holds a 21 percent stake in the Company.
With the commencement of operation of our brewery plant in Foshan in January 2008, a total of 8 modern beer production facilities with an aggregated annual production capacity of 1.7 million tonnes are now in place to serve as a solid foundation for the Group's future development and profit.
Kingway's long-term objective is to develop into a brewery enterprise with an annual production capacity of more than 2.5 million tonnes of beer, annual sales volume of over 2 million tonnes of beer by 2014.
